Jaojab is a location in LocoRoco and LocoRoco 2. In the first game, before having an official name, the MuiMuis describe the location as "Wooosh! What a fast-moving river!" and "Exciting! Let's explore!" for the jungle and ancient ruins respectively. The name of the location is revealed in LocoRoco 2 and it's called the Jungle/Ancient Ruins.
It has five playable stages, one minigame, and one demo level in LocoRoco and three playable in LocoRoco 2.
Environment[]
The Jaojab is a very green jungle with lots of trees and other plant life. While the other Jaojab is an ancient city that is colored yellow. The ruins are similar with that form the Mayan architecture. The trees and other plants are inspired by vegetation from the region of Mexico, Belize, and Guatemala where the Mayas lived (today, they are a minority).
The song "Oreo" can be heard in this location.
